Is the US forgetting Thanksgiving?

A couple days ago I went into one of my classes at school, and realized that my teacher had decorated her room. It was already decorated for Christmas. Suddenly I got mad because I figured that my teacher had forgotten about the Pilgrims. The ones that gave you and your friends freedom in the beginning. I am related to one of the leaders of the Mayflower which led the Pilgrims here to America. I was offended about the fact that there are already Christmas decorations when it is November when we should be getting ready for Thanksgiving. Does Thanksgiving not mean anything to the American people anymore? I don't like the fact that even the stores are playing Christmas music, displaying Christmas decorations, and putting up Christmas sales. It's not that I don't like Christmas or anything, I love Christmas! I love celebrating the birth of my savior Jesus Christ. But, I don't think that we should forget those many men and women that came across the seas to make it here to America, and to give us freedom of religious worship.

Please take those Christmas decorations down, put up Thanksgiving decorations. Give Thanks to the Pilgrims. Santa did not cross the seas in agony to give you rights, the Pilgrims did. Celebrate Thanksgiving.

Appearance Labels.

I don’t understand this certain thing that is caused by the action of human beings. Sure, i know what is causing it, but I don’t see why people continually go along with it. Appearance Labels like Emo, Goth, Jock, etc. are not needed. You never know if someone acts like a Jock and dresses like a Goth. You never know if an Emo dresses like a Jock. I agree with Abe Lincoln when he said that “Every man is Equal”. I don’t think that someone should be called Emo, just because of the fact that they cut their wrists (or anywhere in fact) every time they get depressed all the time because they have a disorder. I don’t think that someone should be called Goth, just because they dress in all black and have chains and straps around them. I don’t think that someone should be called Jock, just because they dress like a gentleman and hang out with other guys a lot. I don’t think there should be given labels around the planet, just because it is popular associated.

There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God.
